Mothers to Be.....signs And Symptoms Please! Posted: 08-02-05 11:52am
Missed my period at the end of last month!
Really don't believe I am pregnant but
have been watching for signs and symtoms
like crazy.
Felt really tired for a whole week, like I
could sleep forever, then nothing. I
haven't got sore boobs, haven't got
cravings and haven't got nausea! So, I
know the answer really! Negative! Lol
i do have an enhanced line from my belly
button down, and a swollen tummy....Like
when you get your period...But I haven't
got mine. And I have kinda lost my sex
drive which could be simply that I don't
feel like it (but that is rare!!)lol oh,
and I keep getting pains in my tubes (like
ovulation)
did a pregnancy test yesterday and it was
negative, but you know, there are people
that say they didn't have any
signs/symptoms until 2-3 months!
So, thought I would see what s/s you guys
have had? :lol:

In the 5th week I was having symptoms
i'm talking cramps that feel like your
period starting but it isn't. Fatigue
and nausea. Sore nipples. My stomach
does look a lil bloated lately.

Just cause you test negative doesn't mean
you are
i tested positive, but my mom told me
about when she got pregnant with me she
kept testing negative, but she just knew
she was pregnant.
Every person is different. I would say
wait a week and trying testing again.

I actually only lost my sex drive because
of the stomach cramps I just didn't feel
like doing anything. It does get better
though.

Thank you for responding....I know it is
the same old question. I have been
scowering the internet for information,
but sometimes, you just need to talk to
someone!
My doctor is doing a test for me. I
would be happily shocked if it came back
positive! But I just don't feel like it
will. Will let you know on monday what
the answer is. Fingers crossed.

I'm in my 5th week also and the only
symptoms I have are really sore nipples
and back ache (which I never get
otherwise), i'm starting to get tired a
lot more and i've had period like
cramping. I don't have morning sickness
yet, but at times I feel nauseous and
occasionally dry heave but otherwise thats
it.

I am now trying to be realistic that i'm
not pregnant, and that I am imagining
everything. I went to the doctors last
week, and (as I already said) will get the
results of my test tomorrow.
If I am not pregnant, the doctor is going
to give me something to make my period
kick in (i haven't had one for about 2
months) and then start me on clomid. So
really, I know that this definately ain't
the end of the road, but I suppose it is
human nature to want to fall pregnant
without any intervension. I am realistic
and now that sometimes it just ain't that
easy.
Not having a good day today, feel
nauseous, have a bloated tummy, my boobs
started aching last nite and I feel really
low. I know that I will be fine tomorrow
when they say "negative" as I now that
there are options. I just wanted to have
a little moan and as we're not telling
parents or anything, I don't really have
anyone else to talk to.

You never know. I never crossed my mind
I was pregnant. Untill I thought I had
the flu and one of the men at work kept
telling me I was pregnant. I had to get
x-rays at the dentist and they wouldn't do
them unless I knew 100% I wasn't preggers
so I got a test and took it in the
afternoon (i hadn't even missed a period)
and well what do u know I know have a
almost 7 week old son! Lol so like I
said you never know!

I missed my period at the end of last
month too (july 28th). I just started
getting symptoms yesterday (august 6th).
I am suspected to be 5 weeks and 3 days.
So it sounds like you are going through
what I am going through... My breasts
are only just a little sore now and my
morning sickness just started.
Are you wanting this pregnancy? Please
keep us updated on the test results!

this happened to me the shot to make my
periods kick in. I went a whole year no
period and had atleast a nine month
pregnancy in that year. But anyway I was
saying they gave me the shot. I was what
they call 5 weeks pregnant and he said
test was neg. He gave shot, nothing
happened go back in 2 weeks, oh yes you
are 7 weeks preg. He did a pelvic at 5
weeks even, dint know I was. Preg test
neg at 5 weeks but not at 7. I do know
the test work faster now, but the same
thing happened to my daughter. She was 5
weeks 5 tests later and 2 weeks, they say
your 7 weeks preg.

Just phoned the doctors and they have told
me i'm not pregnant. Been doing more
reading and perhaps, I just have blocked
fallopian tubes which can give pregnancy
symptoms.
I said all along I didn't think I was and
that my body was just playing tricks on
me....But I still have period cramps! The
nurse is going to call me back in a bit
and I can have a chat with her about the
options.
Taking this all in my stride at the
moment, but have just spoken to my fella
and couldn't tell him! How daft...I just
wanted to hear those lovely words "it's
positive", the same as "most" people on
here do.
When the time is right, it will happen!

Right, just got off the phone from the
nurse and she has said that stomach cramps
aren't usually felt until much later in
pregnancy! So confused. Still have the
pain now, but she says it's probably af
coming. I don't really mind if af is
coming, I just wish she would get a bl**dy
move on! Lol
so, back to the drawing board, or
something like that.

i had to miss my period by 3 weeks before
test showed, that was 19 years ago, but
same thing happened to my daughter 2 years
ago. She took 5 tests and dint show on
the test until 7 weeks(3 weeks after
period)
but she knew she was pregnant--as I also
did, but they gave me the shot, thank god
my period did not come.
