Am I Gonna Be Pregnant ? Or What? Posted: 08-03-05 04:32am
My period was on july 10th .... I had sex
on july 21st - 25th and then I had sex
again on the 29th and the 31st ... And I
had sex again yesterday... Which in all
he came in me ... And i'm suppose to
start on my period august 8th ... Is it
mostly like that I can be pregnant by now?
Or can I take the test today? Because I
want to find out a/s/a/p because there's
going to be a party and theres going to be
alot of drinking and I don't want a chance
of drinking if I might be possibly
pregnant ...

It is most likely to be pregnant as the
fertile days are 3-4 days before ovulation
and 1-2 days afterwards; and the ovulation
happens in the 14th day, considering the
first day of period day number one. But
for this you must have a 28 day regular
menstrual cycle. If your menstrual cycle
is of 29 days, than ovulation happens in
day 15, and so on. But if your period is
not regulated, than it is a little bit
more complicated.
So, considering your period 28 days (from
10th to the 8th ), july 10th was day nr
one and your fertile period was between
19th and 25th, when you had sex. You must
take into account that this is no 100%
sure, but there is a high chance for you
to be pregnant. So I suggest you take a
pregnancy test-it will only take a few
minutes and afterwards you can party...

But do you think it's too early to take a
pregnancy test right now? And do you
think the really cheap pregnancy test
would work ? Because i'm suppose to have
my period in 5 days which is in august 8th
... And plus i've ben feeling really
nauseaus lately but it goes away and plus
theres a stomach virus going around so I
might have that ...

The pregnancy test establishes if there is
a certain hormone in blood or urine-hcg or
the pregnancy hormone. As far as I know,
home pregnancy tests (hpt) vary regarding
the period of time necessary to pass
before taking it.
"urine tests can determine pregnancy
about 2 weeks after ovulation. Some more
sensitive urine tests can tell if you are
pregnant as early as 6 days after you
conceive, or one day after you miss a
menstrual period."
i am sorry, but I can't tell you a certain
product...I'm not from around... :)so you
should ask the pharmacist which hpt is
best for you...They know what products
they have. Have confidence. They should
also be able to recommend something taking
into account how much money you want to
spend. I usually trust products that are
more expensive, but I can tell you that
medicine is very carefully tested and
there is no room for mistakes...So I would
trust even the cheapest hpt.

attentively...It is very important for the
test to be done accurately in order to
have proper results...

I would think if u took a pregnancy test
now that it will probily come up negitive
you could buy 2 or get a pregnancy test
that has a couple in it and try to take
one now and see.Then try to take one a day
after your period supposed to be here then
it should show up. Or call your doctor to
get a blood test done I heard them show up
early.

Most of the test take 3 or more weeks
after conception. Around a week after
missed period. There is a couple that
work sometimes as early as 4 days be4
missed period, chances very high for a
"false negative". So to say I take
pregnancy test if neg I party is very
inaccurate at this point. At least one
week after missed period then chances are
high for correct results. All women are
different, and levels change differently
in all women. If you think you are
pregnant you should wait to find out for
alchoholic beverages are very dangerous
for baby, and street drugs too!!
I dont know what kinda party you talk
about.
You could go to emergency room within 2
weeks a blood hcg test will show + right
away. That may ease your mind.
Chances are high for pregnancy though,
since you had sex right around ovulation
time.

Well I took the hpt that day and it showed
up negative ... And I guess i'm suppose
to have my period today and yesterday I
drank because it was my friend's b day .
Yea I know very irresponsible ... Feel
bad enough already ... But right now i't
feels like i'm starting to get really bad
cramps and my lower back has ben killing
me lately . I feel nauseous at times but
it comes and goes . I thought I had the
stomach virus . Hmm maybe its a sign that
i'm gonna start my period??? And oh yea
has anybody has sore nipples before ?
Sorry tmi but my nipples has ben feeling
sore for weeks now it won't go away . I
hope theres nothing wrong with me . Any
advice would be greatly appreciated .
