Home made dinner, flowers, taking her somewhere she really likes even if you do not. I think the best presents are the most original. .I.E. Taking her on a picnic , surprising her at work, ect. Ask her friends what she really wants. They are usually the ones who know best. Personally I do not know one girl who doesnt like a spa day.

My husband on the day he proposed...Took me to this cool place down the street where I live that has a small waterfall that not many ppl know about...Built a tent out of sheets nailed to trees, made a picnic, desert and all, and we played in the stream...He even waited outside the tent while I got changed from my wet clothes...Sweet

hand picked flowers are a favorite of mine too...

Lol sorry but I just found that badger comment really funny :)

you said shes not into anything big, then i'm sure anything you give her/come up with will be great. And as corny as it may sound I find the simplest things really the most romantic. In my opinion it shows that the guy knows you and your preferences.

Somthing Sweet
Posted: 08-07-05 13:38pm

My b.F got me a bath kit and some candles and some wine glasses with some apple juice and made me a nice at home spa type setting and it was really cool..He lit cnadles in our bathroom and played some really slow romantic music and set a tray next to the tub with some juice and I loved it...U could also try somthing like that..And she'd prolly love it!!

Well...You don't have to hand pick flowers...I have more ideas

i think what I like best about them(hand picked flowers) is that he went out of his way to do something for me that he spent time on...

I would have liked store bought flowers too, but there's something more special when he goes out and picks them himself...

It doesn't have to be flowers...You could bake her a cake or cookies or a cupcake...Or get a picture frame that isn't painted yet and paint it for her. Then put a cool pic of you two in it.

Hand made gifts to me are the best because the person is putting their time and part of themselves into it...

And if you're not into the hand made junk you can do little things like clean the bathroom or do the dishes. I especially like when my husband does the dishes because I know he hates to do them and when he does them I know he's doing it because he cares about me.

Make her a card. Take her lunch when she's at work. Leave notes for her to find when she wakes up. Like put it in the bathroom and tape it to the mirror, or set out her coffee mug and put the note with it...Put it on her windsheild before she leaves for work...

That's just a few ideas...Notice almost all my ideas don't cost alot but they do mean alot to girls whether you believe it or not
