I donated my eggs in the end of march, to
help a couple have a baby. They had been
trying for 2 years and the docs told them
that they couldn't without a donor. I
had a period after that, on april 8th it
lasted it's normal 4-5 days with a light
flow like normal. After that I finally
conviced my husband to try and get
pregnant with out second child. But I
haven't had a period since, it's been 117
days now, almost 4 months without a
period, and i've taken tests and i'm not
preggo. I don't know if I should wait it
out, or go to the docs to see if anything
is wrong. I don't really have the money
to go to a docter, but I can scrap it up.
Any info or advice is very welcome.
Thanks

I do know that if a person does not
ovulate they might not have a period. It
takes the ovulation and failure to become
pregnant to trigger the shedding of the
extra lining in the uterus. That is
present for a pending pregnancy.
If they made you take hormones to retreive
the eggs, especially more than one egg,
your body might not be releasing them, to
catch up for the extra ones that were
released in march. I believe each month a
woman usually only releases 1 ovum.
Unless she has a twin gene.
That is my idea on the matter I am not a
dr, but this seems lke it could be the
case for your situation.

They never mentioned something like that
to me. I even told them about my wanting
to start right away to get pregnant
afterwards. But if that's the case then
I have 19 more months towait until a
period, because they got 23 eggs from me.
They told me they got alot, but it's
because i'm 22 and healthy.

I really dont know but that seemed
logical. But if the just took them out
of the ovary--instead of making your body
release them first--i dont know, but it
would still be a different story!!
Maybe I will search the internet for info
on that for you. And maybe you should
call the drs aboout it. The feertility
drs.
Maybe the hormones they made you take need
time to get out of your system, they may
be messing things up--i really dont know
though.
Like I said I do know no ovulation
usually no period!!

I'll give the docs that did this a call,
because it's very concerning. And I
don't know anything. They did take them
out of the ovaries before my body released
them so. Plus it's been almost 4 months
since then I would hope that all the drugs
are out of my system by now. But I do
know no period is no ovulation. I'm
usually irregular. But at most it's 60
days, I watched a few times. But it's
never this long.
