Experiences? Comments? I really don't
like what the hormones do to my body and
i'm wanting to go off of them after I
finish the last week of active pills.
Should I expect crazy things to happen
with my body?
Thanks!

You're probably sick of hearing this
response on all the sites you've no doubt
looked to for answers, but everyone reacts
differently. For the first month I was
off bcps I was feeling great! Then this
month i've been bleeding a lot, the first
period started 4 days early and went to
the normal end date (bled for a total of 9
days) and then had a 7 day break and
started bleeding again. The best adviced
I can give after a few months of research
is this: do your best not to worry about
any side effects until you've been off for
3 months, it can take about that long for
your body to re-regulate itself.

Thanks for your reply! I'm actually
doing great. My period was back to
normal the first time and I feel so much
more like myself. I think the pill is a
great idea, it just didn't work for me.

My girlfriend is about to start the patch
and im worried because I have a friend who
was recently diagnosed with cancer. She
swears that the only thing she changed in
her life before being diagnosed was
switching from the pill to the patch.
She feels very strongly that it was
because of the patch. Has anyone else
heard of the risk of cancer with the
patch???
