Could This Be Throat Cancer!!!!!!! Posted: 08-04-05 07:55am
I have had a on going sore throat for
months on the left side and now I have
noticed white spots in back of throat. I
have no tonsils they were removed when I
was 5yrs old. Im getting really scared
now what could this be I have convinced my
self its cancer. :cry:

White spots sounds like it could be oral
thrush and easily treated. Go to the
doctor.

I think you have strept throat by the
sound of it. You should see a doctor, but
I doubt that that is cancer.

Thank you for your replies. How do the
docs test for strep.My doc took a blood
test for infection in the blood and they
came back normal. Ive never had any
throat swabs done.

It's very simple, the doctor just sticks a
popsicle stick thing down your throat for
a sample, and then its tested, and if you
have it, I think you just go on
antibiotics. Its no biggie.
