I work away and had been away for 4 months. I got home on the 11th july and had unprotected sex with my girlfriend late that night. On the evening of thursday 14th july she did a urine home pregnancy test (one that said it was an early detector) and it came back positive.

Is it possible that im not the father? Isnt this too soon to get a positive result even if she was ovulating?

She is diffinately pregnant because a blood test was done on the 26th july during an unrelated matter, that came back positive.

I asked her about her period and she said:

"ok what I meant yesterday about sometimes I have 2 periods I had a reg period with mine run 6/7 days, and then around the end of the month about the 25th had another period but not as long...."

please help as I need to decide whether to get a paternity test done.
