Will Yasmine Effect You After Taking It For 3 Days!? Posted: 08-04-05 12:35pm
Ive been taking yasmine for 3 days and am
now feeling nautious, tired and my boobs
hurt. Prior to getting on the pill my
husband and I were ttc. The only reason
I went on yasmine was to regulate my
periods because they had been 15 days or
longer and I was lucky to have 3 days a
month of not being on my period. I was
ovulating on the 24 th (i think ) and had
sex. I started the pill sunday and have
been off my period since friday (which is
a record for me here lately) I am having
cramps. They are very different then the
ones I have when starting my period.
They are very lown and in my right side.
Usually my period cramps are right below
my belly button and all over these are
very different. I dont know when to take
a pregnancy test because my periods were
so messed up. I also have sex with my
husband basically everyday so I do not
know when I would have concieved, although
if I did it probably would have been on
the 24th. Any imput would be
appreciated. Oh yeah and I took a test
on sunday before starting the pill. It
was negative
thanks !

I dont know what to tell you other then if
your period is more then 3-4 days late I
would take a test. The pamphlett says
the pill is affective after 7 days. By
the way what does ttc mean (i just started
on this site today). :d

I don't think it should effect you too
much yet, it can take up to 3 months to
not be nausiated! I have been on several
differemt bc pills and have found that the
least disrupting to all your other systems
is yasmin so i'd suggest sticking it out
for now. I also think depo could be good
for you, though it's not great and has
some major side effects. But I have
personally found that getting the shot
kinda resets my cycles for a while after
going off it and then I need to get it
again after about a year.
