Just Wondering

Okay i'm 14, and everyday I hear weird voices in my head and see things that go along with the stuff im hearing. They are telling me to do stuff that I know I shouldn't, but when you see things that look like they are about to kill you , you try not to die. I was kind of just wondering what I should do.Ive been using my friends as counselors for a while but they are starting to get on my nerves and yea.I dont know how or if I should tell my mom, because she has no idea and I really dont want to bother her. She has enough trouble with my brother

thanks, sorry I couldnt make it clearer but I tried. Id really like to know why this would be happening!

Hi there,

tell your mom, I know that it seems like a huge burden for her but it is not, she will be so glad that you came to her with this and she will be able to help you get through all of this.

Maybe ask her to go for a walk, then you can be outside and perhaps that would be less threatening to you. The truth is these things will not just go away and parents are a great place to go for help and support.

Like you said she probably has a lot of stress already but chances are that she is already worried about you so showing her that you want her help will make her feel good.

It might be tough but in the end it will really help.

Keep us posted and best of luck.

Its not normal situation. My brother is bipolar and shes always busy doing stuff for him and I really dont want her to worry anymore, and I keep it pretty well hidden I think. So yea

Hi.I want ot say that I went through what you're going through now and I also didn't want to tell my mother but I have an aunt who is very cool and with who I get along very well.So I told her and she took me to a psychiatrist .After a few moths I told my mother.I'm sure your mother will understand and she will be glad you told her. This illness is not your fault it's just a brain disorder.
You'll see that you'll do very well when you begin to take a treatment .The voices will diminish and you'll feel less deperessed.
Hope this helps .Keep us posted.
