Are they really obnoxious and "gross" to
use? I'm going to be going off the pill
after this pack is finished and I wondered
what to expect when we start using them.

They're not gross. I think the ones with
spermicidal lubricant smell kinda funky,
though, and apparently they don't increase
the effectiveness at all, so I wouldn't
recommend them. Words of caution
though--if your significant other is
accustomed to not using them, he may
really really hate them. My boyfriend
can't usually orgasm when using once since
they're kinda "restrictive."
