Whats the soonest I can take a test if my first day ofmy last period was july 13?

The rule of thumb is to take a home pregnancy test after your first missed period. If you have a 28 day cycle like me, then you would be due for your next period august 10th. There are some tests that claim to show results up to 5 days before your missed period, but I have been pregnant twice and have always gotten a negative up until the day after my missed period.

I have taken the test that shows you five days before your missed period. I guess it just depends on your period.

I took a regular test 4 days before my period was due (i honestly didn't hink I was pregnant) and it came up positive. I guess it all depends on the level of hcg in your urine.
