I Need to Know.. Some Help Please!
Posted: 08-07-05 13:30pm

Im sorry if this has been posted anywhere before, but I thought id give this a shot.

Yesterday me and my girlfriend had sex, she had her period the 29th of july, today is the 7th of aug. We were using a condom, and as I usually go hardley at all then pull out. Well I did this and when I pulled out the condom was completly broken, without us knowing. After that she pee'd 3 times (not ure if it helps or not). Most of it was on her stomach but however im not sure exactly how much got inside her. I know some did though. What should we do and when can you get a test?

All help is appreciated. Thanks

If she does not want to be pregnant, have her get hold of the morning after pill. It does not take much to get pregnant. She should also think about getting on the b/c pill, shot, or whatever as you now know the condom is not all that safe but I am not saying not to use the condom because you will still need it once she starts on the b/c pill or whatever for awhile but do not wait too late for the morning after pill or it will not work.
Good luck!

If i'm not wrong it's to late take the morning after pill. Your suppose to take that within 72 hours of having unprotected sex and it's been longer than that. The best thing to do is wait and see if she starts her period and if she doesn't then get a hpt. Or if she starts having symptoms of pregnancy before her cycle then take a test.
But don't stress about it cause that alone could make her period late or she'd start thinking she was having pregnancy symptoms and she really isn't.

he is definitely under the 72 hour limit to take the morning after pill, if 72 hours is indeed the limit.

You can call a local planned parenthood or pregnancy clinic, or even a local gyn office and they can provide you with the pill or direct you in the right direction :d

Let me rephrase that, we did yesterday, the 6th, and today is the 7th. She started her period july 29th or somehwere around there. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

She spoke with someone about it and they said there wasnt a very good chance because she just recently got off of her period. What are the chances of her getting pregnant?

Have her get an appointment with her md or any planned parenthood right away. The morning after pill is called plan b, and she does need to take it within 72 hrs of intercourse. The manufacturers website is www.Go2planb.Com they have a lot of good information. Hope all goes well for her and you. In some states, pharmacists can dispense it without a prescription. I know wa state is one, but not sure about any others. Hope all this helps
