I have recent had an abortation just over
a month ago, which was the biggest mistake
I have ever made. I already have two
daughters and I just felt that I could
handle another one in this point in my
life..
Right afterwards I totally regretted it
and wanted my baby back.
Then I found out that I am now pregnant
again, and I am sooo happy about that.
I was just wondering if ne of u have ever
experienced that and is it safe to be
pregnant again so soon. Please let me
know...

i have not experienced this at all,i'm not
pregnant,i don't have any children and not
trying to concive because i'm only a
teenager,but one thing i'm sorry that you
had an abortion i've have not had one
ethier,but congratulations on your other
two daughters and your pregnancy that your
having now, but the best thing is to ask
your doctor and ask him/she if its safe to
be pregnant again after having
abortion,but I wish you the best and I
send you the best wishes of your daughter
and your pregnancy now.

thanks hun. The only thing now is is that
I am scared to go back to my family docs
and that is where I have to go to get my
referral for my other doc. She has been
my family doc since I was 2 and she is
friends with all of my family.
I have no idea how to go and tell her that
I had an abortation and that I am pregnant
again. She won't be happy with me at
all.. And its not something that I can
really get around since it will all be on
her records.
Ne advice on how I can tell my doc that?

Number one she is a doctor and she has no
business to judge in anyway otherwise she
is in the wrong business. And she would
have to keep this quiet ( patient
confidentiality) cause if she did not then
you could sue!!
Besides if your going to her for a referal
then why should she have to know? She's
giving you a referal, not being your
doctor thruogh out your pregnancy. But
if you think she's gonna be a problem then
go to an obgyn on your own.
But when you do go to the obgyn, you'll
need to make sure you tell them you had
one. I'm sure you know that.

yeah I will forsure tell my obgyn. But my
family doc know I was pregnant all ready
and when I go and see her again now with
this pregnancy, she is going to wonder
what happened. I was just thinking about
telling her that I miscarried, but last
time I was in to see her, I signed a paper
giving her permission to be send my other
medical records if I was in to see another
doc. My abortation was done in a
hospital, so now I am worried that that
medical record got sent there too.. Do u
know if it would have or was that
completely confidential even though I did
sign those papers. Please let me know
what u think. Thanks.. I really do need
to get to the doc next week since I am
already just over 6 weeks pregnant, I am
just not really sure what to tell her, so
I have been trying to put it off. Please
help...

Well, if you signed the paper for your doc
to send records to other docs, then it
shouldn't be an issue. If you are worried
about what to tell your doc about this
pregnancy, just try to get by with the
basics...That you're pregnant and need a
referral. But it's not a good idea to lie
to your docs...At least if you just leave
the abortion out of it, you can go back
later if for some reason your doc needs to
know about it. Good luck!!!

i don't really know what it was called.
The hospital wanted to put something
called a tent in me, but they couldn't
because I have too narrow of a birth
canal, so they ended up giving me to pills
to insert in me and then 4 hours later I
had to go in for a d'n'c.

Is cuz if it was
methotrexate--injection(could be pills
too) they ask that you wait 1 full cycle
at least and until hcg levels go back down
to <5. But if you are im sure all
will be fine--you are getting a second
chance. Thank god for that.
