Q: Light Brown Discharge

I am 8 weeks pregnant with my first child and very excited. The doctor put me on bed rest because I told him I had brown discharge. I didn't specify at the time but the discharge is a very light brown, tanish color smeared in with clear/white. It happens about once a day when I go to the restroom. I only notice it when I wipe and the tan is very little, about the size of a baby ant. Has anyone else experienced this and should I worry?
