after miscarriage : extremely heavy white discharge Posted: 08-07-05 23:47pm
This is probably long and confusing, but I
really need some advice!
In the middle of june I had a miscarriage,
and my doctor told me that I would be very
susceptible to getting pregnant in the 2-3
weeks that followed, since my body would
not be on a normal cycle, and could
ovulate at any time. That being said- she
suggested I start the birth control patch,
which I did a few weeks after my mc.
Sometimes I forgot, and took the patch off
a day late/put it on a day late. I was on
my 3rd (and last) patch for my first
round, and I was supposed to take it off
on july 10th. I had sex on july 9th,
without any protection other than the
patch. I started a "normal" period on the
12th of july. I'm just wondering whats
going on, because about 2 weeks ago I had
some light pinkish blood when I wiped,
which lasted about 2 days...And I am not
supposed to start my period till august
9th. I have had extremely heavy white
discharge for the past 2 weeks...So much
that I need to wear multiple pantyliners a
day. I know there's virtually no chance I
could be pregnant, since I had my
period...But i'm just nervous because the
only other time I had so much discharge
was when I was pregnant.
