Home Test Says No But I Feel Like It Should Say Yes Posted: 08-08-05 00:33am
My husband and I have decided to try and
start our family last month. Our
believed conception day was around july
20-23 (which I read to be the most fertile
time in my cycle). About a day or two
afterwards, I started feeling extremely
nauseated, had about 1 or 2 "dizzy/faint"
feeling spells, my breasts got extremely
sore to touch or even walk around!!!
And just this morning I noticed white
"goose pimples" on my nipples. My
period was due saturday, august 6th
(hoping and praying it didn't come!!) but
I "think" it did. I noticed very light
spotting on saturday (not enough to even
cover half of a panty liner), and today
(sunday) I had about 1/2 a pad worth which
is very light considering I have been
consistently a very heavy bleeder. Out
of curiousity from the breast issues and
nausea, I took one of those home pregnancy
tests the day my period was due and it
came out negative. I was so
dissappointed I almost cried!!! I
could have sworn it would have come out
positive because it's like I just "feel"
like "i am". Am I just crazy and over
reading all these "pregnancy signs and
symptoms"?? Could it be just hormones
running wild and teasing me??? I am
not experiencing any cramps at all like I
would normally during my periods....Just a
little odd feeling in my lower abdomen,
but nothing close to menstrual cramp
feelings. My breasts are still sore
and those goose pimples on my nipples are
getting bigger and more seem to be showing
up!!! I just feels so strange in the
lower abdomen area....Nothing painfull,
almost like a "stretchy" like feeling.
Any one ever experience anything like
this?? Does it sould like I could be
pregnant and should I test again???

I think you sound like you are. Test
agin in one week
or you could go to the dr possibly he
would do the blood hcg test, more accurate
and come out sooner.
