Here's my story: i'm 21 and I had sex for
the first time about a month ago and it
was unprotected. I got my period a few
days later but now thinking back, it was
shorter and different than usual.
The past 2 weeks i've been feeling all
sorts of things going on in my body that
i've never experienced before. First, my
stomach felt strange, like I had been
doing crunches the day before but I didn't
do any. I've been nausious the majority
of the time i'm awake. But when i'm
nausious i'll be thinking about what I can
eat when i'm feeling better. When I do
eat it seems like nothing agrees with me.
I have difficulty falling asleep at night
and when I do I wake up often. I'm also
extremely tired throughout the day.
Sometimes when i'm standing still I feel
lightheaded and i've been getting
headaches lately too.
I'm due to get my period in about 6 days.
Usually about 10 days before my period
every month, I go on an eating binge and I
feel extremely bloated. This month I
haven't been eating as much and I don't
feel as bloated. My breasts are itchy and
feel bigger which I don't remember feeling
ever before. I keep getting this strange
sensation in my lower stomach and on the
left side.
I guess my biggest "symptom" is that I
just feel pregnant, even though I don't
really know what it feels like to be
pregnant because I never have been before.
There's just something going on inside me
that i've never felt before. I don't know
if i'm just imagining it all or if its all
pms; but something is definately different
in me.
What do y'all think?

You could try a preg test. But they dont
always come out the first try--even if
they say earliest possible results. All
woman are different, all pregnancy
different. If it dont come out try again
in a week. If still thinking you are go
to dr ask for blood test for hcg it comes
out faster and more accurate. My
daughter and I dint show the hcg until 7
weeks pregnant. (3 weeks after missed
period)
my daughter took like 5 tests all
together. She knew she was though.

I just took my 3rd pregnancy test.
Another negative. I'm due to get my
period on saturday, so I guess I just have
to wait and see. But I hate waiting, part
of me really hopes that I am pregnant (i
know that probably sounds crazy because
i'm only 21 and single, but I know I can
make everything work out). I've already
thought about a lot of stuff like how i'm
going to finish school and work things
out.
Everyone thinks that i'm just psyching
myself out about it but i've never felt
like this before. A lot of people think
that it's probably a lot of stress and
whatnot that's causing me to feel this
way.
Someone assure me that it's not all in my
head...

Like I said in my case it took until 3
weeks after missed period for test to come
back pos. My daughter too, just 2 years
ago. She took 5 tests in all, but she
knew she was no matter what the test said.
I think we know, but sometimes we try to
convince ourselves we are not.
