I am 8 1/2 months pregnant and I am so scared. I have twin 3 year old girls but it was different. I had pre-eclampsia and had an emergency c-section. With that pregnancy I never experienced contractions or anything. Now they want me do vaginal and I know im gonna have contractions(of course). Im scared I wont be able to handle the pain plus im just all around nervous cause I dont know what to expect :( . If anyone has some friendly advice or how I can calm my nerves a lil bit please respond
thanks! :)

Have you been to prenatal classes? At this point, it may be too late to get into one, but you may want to talk to your doctor about at least speaking to someone involved...They give you a lot of information and some techniques that help in dealing with the pain and fear... Good luck!!!

I was nervous too, but I didn't even know I was having contractions till my water broke and they got stronger. They weren't too bad. Especially once you get the epidural, then it's nothing. But my epidural machine broke when I was fully dilated and I have to admit, it hurt like a fothermucker! I too had an emerg c-sec after 36 1/2 hours of labour!!Cause my stubborn son's head was pointing up and I could've snapped his neck if I had pushed and he wouldn't turn!
