i am new to the site and wanted to
introduce myself I have had an underactive
thyroid since I was around 16 years old (i
am now 30) argghhh !!! I have had to deal
with easy gain weight , depression , lump
to the right hand side of my neck, tired
(i am always tired) I also went to the
hospital today and now I am awaiting an
appt for an ultrasound scan.
I woke up yesterday and decided to change
my lifestyle I booked myself into a gym ,
done an hour yesterday (god I was
knackered) and decided to go back to
weightwatchers (losing weight isnt as hard
as what some people say - I know its hard
, but we can all do it) and ya know what ?
I felt great yesterday and full of
energy, I have decided I am going to the
gym 2/3 times a week before work at
6.30am (i believe positive thinking and
the will power can help us all in the long
run) good luck to all of you out there I
know its hard but positive thinking takes
you along way , negative thoughts will
always bring you negative results !! All
the best xxxxx

Hypothyroid 175 Mcg Posted: 05-11-06 16:15pm
Hi - same as u re 175 mcg! Mine post-op:
damage from removal of ovegrown
parathyroid 11 yrs ago. How's the
positive thinking going ? I know it can
be a battle. Keep up the gym if you can.
Have you had a 2nd opinion from anyone? I
can't get 'em to make much sense, or
realise what a life-disturber this all is.
Am entering a new round of tests 2 see
how things are going - usually show
nothing much!!
Best wishes. X
