I was turning off the water outside and
when I put my hand on the faucet my hand
started feeling like it was on fire. I
didn't see anything on me, but sure could
feel a burning sensation. I can see where
something had bit me...It's swollen and
red. I live in michigan. Any ideas what
might have bit me to cause this burning
sensation?

I never gave that a thought....Don't think
i've ever been bitten by a hornet and
don't care to again. My hand, where it
bit me, started feeling numb with a
burning sensation and slowly started going
up my arm and up just past my elbow.
Very strange. Thank you for replying.

I don't think it would be a hornet, seeing
as they are huge and I think you would
have felt more than a burning sensation.
Is your faucet by plants? I know certain
types of plants have little microscopic
hook like things on them and will hurt
cause a burning sensation. Or it could
have been some other bug if you still feel
numb tomorrow go to the doctor!

Nasty Spider I Bet Posted: 08-09-05 22:19pm
Sound like bad spider to me. Maybe
should go tomorrow get it checked out.
If it was real bad, youd already be having
trouble breathing, cold sweats, dizzyness
or things like that.
