Fatigue From Multiple Sclerosis
Posted: 08-10-05 03:18am

Hi,

i have multiple sclerosis since 2003 and my doctor says that it's now healed (there will not appear any more lesions in the spinal cord) because we found the illness in the beginning and started with copaxone immediately. I took it for 2 years and then we stopped it.

I would like to know why do I still have strong fatigue and the doctor keeps me saying that the fatigue doesn't come from ms. There is another doctor specialist in ms that says that it's possible that I still have strong fatigue from ms even if it's healed.

Best regards,
luis

Fatigue is one of the most common symptoms of ms.

I am off on sick leave at the moment due to fatigue caused by my ms. I'm a little confused about what your doctor is talking about as there is no cure for ms so how can you be healed??? Remission is one thing but to be totally rid of ms is another.

Maybe you should get a second opinion.
