Can Fertility Be Hereditary?
Posted: 08-10-05 12:04pm

I know that some infertility can run in the family but what I am wondering is if it is really easy for my mom, sister, aunt ect. To become pregnant, will that make it any easier for me to conceive? All of them could get pregnant in less then 2 months while trying. I have not been on birth control since november 04 (depo)
should it be easier for me to get pregnant because it was easy for the rest of my family?
I realize this is probably a dumb question seeing as how our health backgrounds could all be different, (ie I have a hypoactive thyriod that is under control with medication.)
also if my the males in my husbands family have a high sperm count and can very easily impregnant women, will that mean he has a high sperm count as well? His whole family smokes but they get girls pregnant left and right. Anyone have any imput or experience with this sort of thing. ... Id love to know what you all think.
