I am eighteen years old and I recently lost my virginity. Me and my partner were having sex and I noticed there was blood. I knew my cherry had popped and I thought that was the end of it. We had sex again after about two weeks. I bled again but not right away after a little while. Is this normal? Why is this happening? Could it be because he has a big penis? Could it be because I am tight?

Hey caroxygirl,
i'm 16 and still a virgin, but I can definitely help you out on this one. The first time you had sex you bled because your hymen was torn...Which is completely normal, and that is what youre referring to when you say "popping the cherry"...Bleeding after the 2nd time you had sex is completely normal too, no matter how much time is in between, because 1, you are probably really tight still, and 2, you were probably still "raw" and torn up a little bit from the last time...I was just fingered for the first time last week and I noticed very light pink blood a few hours later, and that was probably because I wasnt used to anything being in there(being tight), and I probably had a little cut from it...But if I were you I wouldnt worry, but if it will ease ur mind, call up ur doctor and give them a heads up on whats going on....Best of luck!
