Chafing, Anyone Ever Get It? Can Anyone Help Me Out? Posted: 08-10-05 21:59pm
Hi, I am overwieght and when I workout,
running outside, or working, I get many
"raw rash" type things in between my legs,
when they rub together. I recently found
out that this is called "chafing". But,
my legs have been rubbed so raw, they are
no longer red, but a purplish-red color.
My question is has anyone ever got it
before? How do you deal with this. What
can I get to relieve and treat the pain.
Besides of course losing weight which is
what I am in the process of doing now.
This is really starting to hurt my fitness
rutine though.

What you need to do is quite simple, stop
your legs from rubbing together.
Buy some boxer-briefs which protect your
thighs and also your thighs from
chafing.

Make a paste of corn starch works wonders.
When its not so rashed you can use dry
corn starch or baby powder to try and
prevent it.

Ive heard protrolem jelly (or however you
spell it)
my friend has a little brother who is very
much over weight and has this, his mother
just tells him to do this and it seems to
do the trick.
