Sounds like you might have hemmrorids or
anal fissures. Hemmorids are usually
caused by irritation or pressure to the
veins in the anal area, causing them to
bulge and illicit further irritation
during bowel movements or prolonged
periods of sitting. Most can be treated
with simple cortisone cream aka
preperationh. An anal fissure is like a
tear right on the anus, which causes pain
when having a bowel movement. I used to
have an anal fissure and didnt know what
it was for the longest time - whenever I
went number two it felt like something
sharp was in the poop and scraping my
anus. I had the same symptoms as you
though - blood after wiping, a little
blood on my stool, and lots of pain during
and after. You can help it by eating
lots of fibre and drinking lots of water
to make your stool's nice and soft
(constipation can cause hemmrorids as
well, and worsen the anal fissures). I
think fissure are more common than people
think, but nobody knows about them because
it is a rather embarrassing topic of
conversation. Even asking your doctor
seems mortifying. My fissure went away
on its own and to my glee has not
returned. If yours is causing lots of
discomfort though, you should just take
your butt to the doc's office. Either
way, both problems are a real pain in the
ass, so happy healing!
