Another Braces Question Posted: 08-11-05 12:51pm
Okay, so i've had my braces for 5 months
now. Anyone else experience-how do I
describe this? Okay, i've got what
appears to be "shaved-skin" from the
inside of my mouth tangle in my braces.
Anyone else ever have that problem? I
don't know what to make of it. Or course
I don't see my orthodontist for another
month, but I guess I could call . . .
But that means i'd have to get up from the
computer and the phone's all the way
across the room . . .
Anyone else have that? The skin, not the
laziness.

I had braces when I was younger and yes I
always experianced this feeling..Just go
to the grocery store and buy some wax for
your mouth..Apply it to the braces where
you think its rubbing up. When I had
braces they didnt have the wax you could
buy, they only had the kind you could get
from your dentist.. Go to a local drug
store and get some.
