I started zoloft a month ago; just a
couple of days before being dumped by my
girlfriend.. So now i'm here a month
later, feeling really odd in a lot of ways
- certain aspects of my anxiety have
reduced a little bit but in other ways I
just feel strange - kind of like this
isn't really real and depressed.... In
addition I have had hair falling out - so
I want to get off zoloft but I can't get a
hold of my psychiatrist until wednesday.
I have 100mg tablets i've been taking in
50mg - don't I need the 25mg to taper off?
Or can I just cut the 50 unofficially
into 25mgs?
Would I have seen some of the side-effects
sooner though? Or does it take about a
month for those to set in... The hair
falling out, and the acne?
Thanks

Get off that crap. You are far better off
to deal with your woes without drugs. If
your psy does not agree, I would see
someone else.

Get off zoloft and ask your psychiatrist
about what they can do for you without
drugs. If they say nothing then walk out
the door and find someone else.

dur.......What I said
earlier.......Without any over articualte
flowery caca talk.
Ps robotman.....If your curious about the
side effects of zoloft and other ssri's(
stands for selective seretonin re-uptake
inhibitors for you anal retentive
suckers), just do a google search and
read. I think you'll be suprised. Be
very cautious of what any supposed doctors
( inclusive of psychiatrists) try to push
on you in the way of prescription
chemicals. They all have side effects.
Some they are just learning about after
the fact. Big pharma here in the us is
in everybody's pockets, including the fda.
Look at all the new poison they come out
with everyday. Makes you wonder who's
working quicker, the caretakers to come up
with classifications for common ills
people have been dealing with for a long
time and never died from, or chemicals
that supposedly help with a newly
classified dysfunction.

Sorry, I just read his thing and
responded. Good post though.
Flowery articulation is all doctors will
listen to if you want them to eventually
back off. Don't be too smart for your
own good. P.S. Articualte isn't a
word.....You sound a bit hightensioned.

Zoloft sucks and will make you gain
weight, however if you need something
this, you will sleep all day and let
apathy run your life. Never let a doctor
give you anything you don't want, they and
the drug companies make way too much off
normal people. Learn how to manipulate
them so you can get what you need or want.
Never brag about being smart, let those
sorry no namers figure it out on their
own. One important note, never mention
what you want, talk like you need one
thing, ask for another. It works
everytime.

I've been taking zoloft for a while now
and nothing bad has happened to me. It
takes a while for you to see good results.
Sometimes you do have bad side effects
but they go away, if you dont want to take
it sweety then dont, dont ever feel forced
to take anything. Email me if you have
any other concerns...Spark_babe@yahoo.Com
