What she's doing is very stupid. As she
is already 8 months along all the damage
has been done. Her baby will mst likely
be born addicted to the drug she is
taking. There might also be health
problems when he/she is born and/or
further down the road. What your friend
is doing is extemelly irrseponsible and
how does she plan to cope with a baby
while drugged up. She should be honest
with her doc and maybe they can get her
some help.

Taking painkillers while pregnant
increases risk of schizophrenia in
children, study says
yet more avidence is surfacing that
demonstrates the health dangers of taking
over-the-counter drugs while pregnant. A
study of danish patients has found that
expectant mothers who take aspirin and
other painkillers give birth to children
who are four times more likely to develop
schizophrenia as adults. Smart women
already know to avoid prescription drugs
when pregnant, but most women tend to
think aspirin is perfectly safe. This
study reveals it may not be... Be sure to
read the related article, the big bush
handout to pharmaceutical companies:
mandatory mental health screening for
entire u.S. Population.

Now while I can feel for her using, but
she should have told her doc off the bat,
he could have helped her quit. Now she
put not only herself in danger, but the
child, if they find out she's using while
shes in the hospital having the baby, the
baby could be taken away...
