Q: Not Hearing a Heartbeat At 12 Weeks

I went to the doctor at 11 weeks and 12 weeks to try and hear the heartbeat and was unsuccessful. I have an ultrasound today, but i'm concerned. This is my second pregnancy and I feel different than the first time. I've tried looking for information on this and can't find anything. Has anyone went through this situation?

Hey

hey hun I went through the exact same thing lol my first doctors appointment my doctor went to listen to the heartbeat she couldnt find it.. It worried me.. But there were three possibilties I wasnt far enough along.. They say 11 12 weeks is when they can hear it with the doppler... Or my uterus was tipped back making it harder to hear the heartbeat or I had a miss misscarriage, which meant I had misscarried but not blled out..She sent me for an ultrasound and everything was fine.. I was 12 weeks and 6 days along so he was just being picky for her lol I am sure things r fine:d

Extremely eHealthy
If everything was not fine & you need to talk off forum please email me I lost 5 to get 2 children so I know what it's like to miscarry & I also know what it's like to have to decide to have a termination because of problems with the baby.

I pray you are both well.
