I like the name. It's very nice. :d
about the lack of kicks, you could always
call a nurseline (that's what they call a
telephone number in my area where you can
speak to a nurse and tell he/she what
you're worried about and often they can
give an opinion as to whether you should
go to the doctor or whether there is
nothing to worry about.)
i hope that helps!

As the baby grows they dont seem to move
as much they have less room, when I was
preg I went to the er so many times
because she wasnt moving all of the time
and they told me that if I you dont eat
enough shes not gonna move around as much
and sure enough as soon as I would eat she
would start moving

Hey Posted: 08-16-05 12:24pm
Im 5 months pregnant and I go through the
same thing your going through, because my
first pregnancy ended in miscarraige, she
would move a lot and I was so excited and
like a couple weeks later I went in for a
ultrasound and found out that from her
doing all the turning and moving around
she wrapped her cord around her neck
multiple of times...And now I rush to the
e.R like every month and they send me home
because I just worry to much...But first
pregnancy I wasn't eating like I should
just chips and sugary foods..... Now they
say that the baby is getting a lot of rest
and that I should not worry
myself...........I think that you should
just keep taking your vitamins and don't
miss your appointments and the baby will
be okay......

I had the same panic with my 3rd (i'm
pregnant with my 4th now, due any day!) I
was so worried because she would just stop
moving for long periods of time. I would
go to the hospital because I thought
something was wrong only to find out she
was simply lazy and sleeping alot. The
tricks they used to wake her up and make
sure she was okay were:
- have me drink a big cup of really cold
ice water and wait a few minutes, they
explained that babies are sensitive to
cold and dont like it much so it wakes
them up
- make a really loud noise, they would
push this thing that would ring (kinda
like a loud phone) against my belly and
she would react
- grab the sides of my belly and kinda
jiggle it moving and pressing carefully on
the baby to get her to move around
all of these worked every time, so I just
started using them to check myself when I
got worried and she was fine. Hope this
helps.
