Itchiness, Burning, Redness, And Irritation! What Is This??
Posted: 08-15-05 13:05pm

I just recently lost my viriginity 5 days ago. Yes, he used protection, but i'm still nervous about becoming pregnant. He said he did come, but he pulled out maybe 20 seconds later. I didn't bleed after intercourse, but my vagina was very sore. That same day, but later on, I noticed two blood clots on vaginal area. They didn't bother me, but it scared me because i've never seen them before. About two days went by until I started feeling this itch and irritation in my vaginal area. One blood spot did pop and very litte blood came out. Now, my vaginal area has redness, itchiness, burning and irrtitation. Me and my mom went out to get yeast infection creme, but is it a yeast infection? Also, may I be pregnant, even thoe he used a condom?? Please help!

Your vagina is going to be sore because it did something its not used to, like when you havent exercised for a while your muscles are sore afterwards. The bleeding probably is just from having sex he probably tore some of the linig in the vigina. The itching can just be from the tearing healing or it could be an infection. Its probably either a yeast infection or bacterial vaginosis thoes are both really itchy and a pain in the butt! Go to the gyno so they can put you on a medication to treat the problem if it dosn't go away because they can be a b**ch to get rid of!

You may be allergic to condoms... But to be sure, dont be scared to go to the doctor. It is well worth it and you wont have to worry anymore. They can also give you a great pill instead of those messy creams if it is in fact a yeast infection.

As far as getting pregnant, when you go to the doctor you may want to consider asking about getting on the pill or some other form of birth control. But remember, always use condoms too. They are the surest form of protection against std's.

I agree you may be allergic to condoms. I am and I get the same symptoms. Which does lead to a yeats infecton for me. You can get non latex condoms. Im not sure if they are exactly as effective but some protection is better than none. And if youre not on the pill and you dont want to get pregnant you may want to get on the pill.
