Possibly Pregnant But My Husband Had a Vasectomy....
Posted: 08-15-05 16:27pm

I am very nervous because I am late (only three days) but my husband had a vasectomy. I wouldn't even second guess the situation except last month just one day after my period ended I had sex with someone else. My husband knows it's a lifestyle situation (swingers) so he is not upset by it. But he doesn't know that I am late. The man I was with used a condom and didn't climax in me, he pulled out and masturbated right when he was finished. Is there any chance I could be pregnant from this one time, where no semen physically entered my vagina? I am concerned maybe I layed on some on the bed. Is this a valid concern or am I being overly worried.
Serious responses only please...

Well, anytime you have sex, you can become pregnant. You can't always rely on a condom. If the condom broke, or had a tiny microscopic hole in it, and there was more than likely precum, if he did ejaculate, then the answer is yes, you can be pregnant. If I were you, I would get on the pill if you are able to, since you are a are sexually active. This just seems like it would be more safe. I would wait it out for another week, then take a test if you still have no signs. You need to tell your husband though, because keeping this built up, is more than likely making you stress, which stress can delay your period. Just relax and take it easy.
