I hurt my knuckle playing hockey about 3
months ago. I have had 2 x-rays which
were both negative. I have had a
cortozone shot, been put on two topical
anti-inflammitories and have shown limited
progress. I have a bump on the nuckle
of my right pinky finger. The doctor
says it is probably
joint/cartiledge/tendon/ligament damage.
He mentioned it may be a ganglian. It is
still quite stiff and sore some days, but
pretty good other days. I have been
referred to a surgeon but am on a 6 month
wait list. I have started taking
glucosamine sulphate to rebuild/repair the
joint. I am desperate to get this thing
healed. My doctor has become usless.
Anyone have ideas? Alternative medicine?
