Air Planes!!! Anyone Else Terrified?!? Posted: 08-16-05 00:43am
I am terrified of flying...Well many
things...I have hated air planes since I
was very young and my first plane ride was
actually 3 days after I was
born...Supposedly. My family and I are
going to visit family in italy in 2
days!!! So please help me out and give me
some tips on flying or just I dont know,
help me out! I'm so afraid, I haven't
been on a plane since right before 9/11
and now this whole plane from athens crash
thing b/c of an oxygen problem or
something like that, i'm just stressing
about everything and I know if I step onto
a plane I am going to have an anxiety
attack, or maybe more than one...Maybe
even a seizure...So please, please help
me...

Just tell yourself this.
You'll be safer flying to italy than you
will be during the car ride to the
airport. I say that not to get you
worried about getting in a car, but to
realize that the plane is safer than your
car. And I trust you have had plenty of
experiences in a car and know accidents
can happen anytime. Again, i'm not trying
to scare you, just give you the comparison
