It is definately not a smart thing to do!!! Using a tanning bed raises your core body temperature which in turn raises your babies. If the temperature gets too high (which might not be too high for you) it can cause brain damage. Most tanning salons either refuse or strongly discourage you from tanning if your pregnant and when you first start at a new tanning salon they specifically ask if you are pregnant.

yup yup.

Agree's with .Sara.

Sunbedding while pregnant
I am 5 months pregnant and own my own sunbed. I tan for 30 minutes once every week or two. If i feel I'm getting too warm I switch the fan on or get off the bed. With my first child i was in the sun alot, as long as you dont over heat yourself and wear a sun-screen the risk is minimal.

THERE IS NO DOUBT: SUNBEDS CAUSE SKIN CANCER!!
So I believe EVERYONE should stay away from them, specially pregnant women!
The problem is that people don’t realise how bad sunbeds are because they’ve been using it for years and never understood the link between sunbedding and skin cancer. But today the truth is revealed, you can’t deny it.
I personally won’t use sunbeds, EVER. It’s just not worth it and there are so many good fake tan products on the market, it would be a shame to deliberately damage my skin.
