What to Do??
Posted: 08-16-05 18:21pm

Hi im a 17-year-old male and I hate the fact that I get so angry that I do things I regret later. And the worst part is that I get angry over very silly things , like if someone leaves the room and not closes the door or close it but leave it not fully closed, or when my mom asks me to so something I dont want to do and stuff like that... I know u think that this is normal irritation but its not .. I get so angry that I shout at ppl like my sis or even hit them and sometimes I just dont talk to them for a while untill they apologize to me or I start saying things I regret and I do other things as well . And im also very moody which affects my grades and life.... And I hate that abt myself and im worried that this temper problem will carry on and will affect everything around me .. Ill have failed marriages ..My kids will hate me and so on ..... Can any1 give any info. .....Plzzzzzz help im desperate..
thank u

Insanity, bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder or even adhd could cause that. Or maybe steroids.... Chill out or go get some meds that will do the chilling out for you. I used to put holes in walls, knock down doors, punched over the mailbox, and all that got me tons of wonderful chemicals! But I usually had better reasons to get mad or I was drunk.

Ok neither drink or take steroids(lol) but the other possibilities could b true , im not really sure what they mean but it sounds relevant and it makes sence . I'd like to know more about those medicines your talking about. And what critical thinking tipsthat could help me during those situations.
Plz help and thank u 4 ur repy..

If you're insane, thorazine and muscle relaxants will help. Bipolar is tricky, and most drugs will cause you to feel like you're in a bubble and gain tons of weight while on them. I'm diagnosed as major depressive with adhd with some social anxiety. I lied a lot to my psychiatrist to get what I wanted really but I am adhd. I am on wellbutrin sr(only 150 mg) adderall xr 30 mg, xanax right now .5's 3 times a day, and lunesta 3mg(which sucks). If you have mood swings and know why, you probably aren't bipolar, i've seen bipolar people and they are almost in a state of confusion without their meds and go up and down pretty quickly, not all but the ones I know do. If you know why, have trouble paying attention, stay frustrated, etc... It's adhd probably. Depression can cause all of your symptoms. Unfortunately, most of this crap doesn't work and just masks the problem. If I could choose what I got, i'd take dexedrine, klonopin, lortabs, and halcion, lol. Just give me opium and i'll be a happy camper. I also work out a lot until recently, for some reason i've been eratic and don't really care. I'm pretty sure it's the wellbutrin and xanax doing that to me. As for critical thinking, find something you like to do that doesn't involve stress or aggravation. Work out by yourself(works for me) or find a friend to go with(you'll get better results unless you're like american psycho). Watch your fav movies, get a girlfriend who you can hammer like a porn star, play sports(worked for me). And always say, do I look like an problem when I react like this? That worked for me. If you ever lose a girl over this crap cause you flip out when drunk and threaten to rip out a guy's trachea or gut him, you know you gotta problem and need to be chill.

I realize that this post was done in the middle of august, I am no Dr. But you might check out mental health, please do not take me wrong, I am not trying to say that you are crazy but we all need a little help sometime, and you do not want to continue on this way as you can hurt someone or get hurt yourself and I am sure you do not want either one to happen.
Good luck!

Adderall Recovery Photographs--a Must Read
Posted: 10-25-05 19:53pm

Someone has chosen to use ebay as a venue to get help with their adderall addiction-encouraging creative energy. Photographs are really interesting. Looking to the community-ebay does reach such a large audience. Hmmm...Ideas generating in my mind. Any adderall users having troubles, check out this find:
