I had a full tummy tuck and my muscles
pulled together to give me a sixth pack,
after 9 months I still look swollen and I
am tender on one side of my body, if my
grandkids touch my tummy it makes me jump
out of my shoes. Should I still look
swollen and be tender after all this time.

You should not feel pain, but some
tenderness is possible. All in it takes
about a year, before your abdomen feels
soft and natural. But you may feel some
loss of sensation on the skin of the
abdomen if nerves are injured. And they
usually are in an extensive abodominal
lift with liposuction and all. Oh and I
forgot to add - how fast you heal depends
of course on your age. Young people heal
a lot faster.

Hi I had a tummy tuck 18 months ago and I
would say it was a good 12 months before I
was pain free. However if I bang my scar
which runs over my hip bones it still
makes me wince a little. Hope you feel
better soon. X

I still after 2 years if driving a long
distance or sitting to long can
swell........All normal. But so happy I
did it....

news, but I was one of the unlucky ones.
I have a tummy tuck gone bad. I did
everything that I could to prepare myself,
researched my doc, researched procedure
thoroughly. I am marred, embarrassed and
shamed by my appearance. I have become
depressed over this whole event. Please
be careful upon considering any kind of
surgery.

fuentes, he made me a new person, no more
kangaroo poich, wish I had done it years
before.
I love my flat tummy and my bb.
If I can be of any help let me know, I am
american and have lived fulltime in baja
