I had a tl when I was 23. I am now 27.
Up until a few months ago, I have had no
problems. I never got cramps or anything
like that. Lately every so often, i've
been getting severe pain on the right side
of my abdomine. Not often, maybe once
every couple of weeks or so. It lasts
maybe 20 minutes and is gone. The pain
is enough that it hurts to move. Does
anyone know, if that could mean that the
tubal is reversing itself? This was
suggested to me, and I was wondering what
the likelihood is.

It's very unlikely that your tubal could
reverse itself. When done, the doctor
actually cuts and cauterizes (burns) the
end of the tube sealing it shut. I
wonder if maybe you're experiencing
ovulation which would occur every few
weeks and last only a short time. Or
maybe you have a cyst on your ovary which
is causing the pain during ovulation.
Your doctor could do a pelvic ultrasound
to check your ovaries or to look for the
cause for your pain.

I had a tl when I was 21 since then I have
had to have 2 surgeries both for
cists.Alot of other women I know have the
same problem all starting after they got
"fixed" I wish I had never gotten it done.
I get the most awful cramps that would
literally put me to the floor. After a
while it felt like a something popped and
then I would be fine. My doc told me that
it was just cists and they popped and went
away. It can also make you throw up, run
a fever, and feel like you have the flue.
If you get to where the pain wont go away
(which I did) you may want to see a
doctor. I ended up with hemagoratic cists
that had to be removed. But usually they
will go away on their own.
