I've read that there's no scientific evidence saying that it hurts the baby, but its better to be safe than sorry. I don't know what all the chemicals are in the hair dye and i'm not sure if it's actually getting them and letting your scalp absorb them or if its inhaling them. I know when my mom colored her hair I had to stay in other rooms because the smell made me more sick but that might have been personal preference. There's lots of people who've gotten their hair colored without hurting the baby i'm sure since there's no scientific hard proof that it hurts the baby.

It's fine to dye your hair, just no bleach and not in the 1st tri. I dyed my hair at least 3 times (the last time 2 days before I gave birth) my son is fine!

Yup! Thats about like my hair! My natural color is brown and every time I get it done its brown with blonde highlights, not blonde with blonde highlight, its almost looks strawberry blonde...And this lady really made my hair all poofy..Like the 60's hair or something..I was embarrassed going outside.
