Usually it doesn't hurt when they check you, you might feel discomfort, but never pain, and it is usual to have a small amount of bleeding. I would call and talk to your drd if it hurt that much. I'm only 25 weeks and i'm dialated one centimeter. Not fun when they check you, but it doesn't ever hurt.

25 weeks and already 1cm dilated? I am due this saturday and am not dilated it. I thought I was starting labour last week, they checked to see if I was dilated but it didnt hurt, uncomfortable - yep. When they check to see how far the head is down, they just pressed on the out side of my lower abdomen, they could basically feel where his head is.

The reason I am already dialated is because i'm pregnant with twin girls and I am having problems with my pregnancy. The babies are at weird angles and one, baby a, is kicking down on my cervix.

At the end...Everytime they checked me I would bleed bad enough..And would have to wear a pad...I think your cervix gets very sensitive at the end.

During labour..Every couple hours they check to see how far you have prgressed..After a while..It really starts hurting...Like I was crying everytime they would check me....It hurt like he||.
