I am 62 years of age, have had my appendix
and gallbladder removed many years ago. I
am noticing a twinge, or almost negligible
pain in the appendix area - right side,
forward and just above the hip. This is
very intermittent and has been noticed for
about 6 months now. I also have noticed
that my gut has slowly become enlarged and
hangs out as in "beer gut," although I
drink very little. I have a good deal of
flatulence and stools show no problem. I
have thought about a colon polyp, which
has not been checked. No other
indicators. What comes to your mind?
