Okay this is whats going on. My last two
periods have been about 2.5 days. I
usually have a nice long 7 day period. I
got married the beginning of july and just
figured that the stress caused the first
one but after the second one I started to
wonder if I had a little peanut growing.
So I took a test and it came up negative.
I called the advice nurse to see if there
might be something wrong. She stated that
it sounded like I was pregnant and to wait
2 weeks and take another test. I did and
it is still negative. I questioned if I
could have an illness. She replied that
if my period was not late that it sounded
like a pregnancy. This is driving me
insane. My husband is so excited but we
dont know for sure are there any ways of
telling? The nurse told me to wait until
my next period before I come in. It is
driving em nuts. Any advice?

My daughter and I both had to wait until 3
weeks past missed period be4 the test come
back pos.
Some pple just take longer to build up
enough hormone to read correctly.

It has been 2 weeks since my second light
period. This just seems odd. I thought
the tests would ahve detected it by now

Aww I wish I could help! But sometimes a
person may never get a positive hpt even
though they are pregnant. I for one, my
last "period" was just like you described,
when I usually have a 5-7 day period. I
got a negative result up until I actually
missed my period. Now I have an apt on
sept 2nd to find out exactly how far along
I am.
When are you due for your next period? I
honestly would schedule an appointment
with your doctor, no matter what that
nurse says about waiting, because if there
is something actually wrong, you would
want to know asap! This way, you can
also get blood work done to see if you are
indeed pregnant and you don't have to
stress yourself about with waiting.

My next period is due the first week on
september. It is driving me insane. Im
worried that I could be gaining weight but
when I run I feel sick and my stomach gets
a little tight, which im not usto. Ill
call and make an appt. Thank you!!
