Any line means you are pregnant.

It is possible to get a false negative but from what I have read its near impossible to get a false positive.

I agree, all the hpt say even a very very faint line is a positive.

I did two tests with my first pregnancy, 1 about lunchtime, and 1 the same evening both positive - when I went to the doctor to confirm it the next day, like the test instructs you to do, she looked at me like I had two heads.
Aparently, tests are so reliable now, that theres no real need to confirm positive results any more.

This time, once I got two positives, I didn't bother. I just went to the doctor when it was time to get all the 1st trimester blood tests done.

You do need to go to the doctor to confirm it because you have to get referrals for the hospital you're going to have your baby at.

When I was first pregnant I done like 5 pregnancy test (only cause my boyfriend didn't think I was serious, he literally had to make sure that it was my pee on the stick lol)

and I went to the doctor and he gave me another urine pregnancy test and then once it was positive he gave me a referral
