When did you all have your baby shower? I know some people have the baby shower after they have the baby..But I kind of want to before the baby is born. Im almost 5 months a 2 weeks pregnant...

I was 7 months...And for my sister...For both of her babies..And gave it to her after they were born...Which is nice too..Because the baby is there..And it is nicer to shop for sex-specific things..(pink/blue)..Rather than having everything yellow!!

I had 2 showers one when I was 7 1/2 months preg and the other at 8 months. This isn't common but my fam and bf's fam don;t know each other and live very far from each other so my fam had one for me with my friends adn my bf's fam had one for me with his family. As I knew the sex, people were able to buy appropriate things. And boy oh boy did we get spoiled and funnily enough: no doubles.

I had my first two for my first two pregnancies at 8 months. But my last one at 6 months. I had it early because I was in college and at the 8 month mark would have been in the middle of mid-terms. I also made sure I knew what I was having first, made the gift buying easier, and no green and yellow, lol

Do you think for baby number its a good idea to have a baby shower. I had one for my first daughter, for my second daughter I just reused all my saved baby clothes plus everything we saved crib, highchair etc. Now we are expecting #3 and I don't have anything saved from tthe other 2 babies. I just have the nusery furniture, highchair, changing table pad. Its been almost 4 years since my little one was an infant.....What should I do is a baby shower appropriate

7 1/2 to 8 1/2 months is good.
3kizz, its nice just to have one to celebrate the upcoming birth. Maybe have people write messagest o the baby, still have games, but ask for no gifts.

3 kizz, I just had my 3rd pregnancy, ended in a healthy girl :). She came 11yrs after my second one. Have a normal baby shower. It's perfectly okay. This baby needs things too. And your friends and family won't think anything of it
