Found Out Im 8 Weeks, Have Alot of Questions..

Okay well I just found out im about 8
weeks pregnant.. And I have alot of
questions...
1. Is when do u usually start to show??
Cuz once I start to show ill have to quit
or go on leave from my job...
2. I have a friend who has a 4 month old
right now and she has alll this "flab"
like stretched skin or w/e u wanna call it
I dunno how to explain it. How can I try
to make sure I get back to a good weight
around where I was after I deliver?? And
how long will it take my body to get back
to normal??
3. Please dont comment on this part or
put him down, but my bf keeps pushing on
my stomach and poking me and stuff like
that cuz hes scared rite now nd doesnt
want the baby...Hes not usuing much force
or anything, I mean hes not trying to
really hurt me bad.. He doesnt even push
hard.. But it hurts still..Anyways..
Is there any way this could be hurting the
baby???
I have more wuestions but I dont wanna
make the post too long.. Thanks

Dont let him push on your stomach out of
respect for you and the baby. I have
this young friend who is like 4 months,
her b/f tries to poke at the baby she hits
the crap outta him--yelling dont ever do
that!!!
Your b/f is not worth it, if he's pleased
to stay with you let him, but dont let him
abuse you or the baby--and definately dont
let anyone talk you into an abortion or
anything you dont really want to do.
You have to think of you and the
baby--thats all. So what if you get
fat, the baby is all that matters. I am
a frumpy girl and I finally got my
pre-pregnant state back and skinnier after
my 3rd child. So my kids did not make
me fat.
Do not stress out and dont worry about
what the boyfriend thinks. Just be
thinking of baby and you. Why do you
have to quit your job if preg.??
You will need to go on leave around the
very end of pregnancy--unless job is very
strenuous you dont have to quit do you?
I mean you can if you want but you
shouldnt have to!!
If it is first pregnancy the skin should
be tight all the way through--i dont know
what you mean flabby skin??

Lol well she had the baby for month ago..
Shes not really fat but her skin hangs
down belong her pants..Im not sure how to
explain it
and I work at breasts lol a 6 month
pregnant breasts girl wont really look
that good lol

Okay I got ya on the job thing oh well,
you get to take it easy then right?? Yes
right after there is skin but if no c/s it
will spring back pretty well for most
girls. Unless they have one right after
the other or get really bad stretch
marks--but use vitamin e on stomach to
keep it elastic be4 and after birth.

Lol, gotta laugh at the breasts thing. If
your a breasts girl your in good shape.
You probably won't show till around 5 to 6
months. And if you want to keep the flab
to a min get the pregnancy arobic tapes,
you can get them from the library. Also
babies r us sells a pregnancy support belt
thing helps hold the tummy up so there is
less strain on your back and tummy. Oh
and cocoa butter!!! Streach marks are
horrible, trust me, cocoa butter helps,
lol. Congrats on the baby. And next time
your bf pokes you or pushes on your tummy
smack him one.

Yes he can do damage. Taking too many
blows and hits to the stomach can
definitely cause a miscarriage. The baby
is pretty protected and safe in your
uterus, but continues action towards your
stomach and god forbid a pretty hard blow,
can risk the life of the baby.

Your bf makes me sick I mean really he
does...He must be an immature problem..I
have tried to get pregnant for 8 years and
it has finally happened...Send your bf my
way so I can hit him in the stomach...I
dont feel I am being to harsh about
this...If your bf dident want a baby guess
he should of thought about that before he
laid down with you. If he does this
again you need to leave! This is abuse
and does he realize that if he hurts and
kills the baby he could go to jail for
homicide

Well that's good that you guys talked
about it. Although I was going to
recommend a little flick to the testicles
for every "poke" you got :wink:
i think you'd have to get a really serious
blow to the stomach to do any damage- the
baby is tiny t the moment and very, very
well protected by your stomach muscles and
pubic bone etc. Although it is definately
disrespectful to be pushing you around,
and there is an increaeed chance of you
getting injured if you fell down, or
twisted the wrong way while there was
pushing and shoving going on- this is
because of the hormone called relaxin,
which loosens up the ligaments and
joints.
As for showing, it is always different for
everyone, but you will probably not show
as properly pregnant until about 5 or 6
months, although, your shape will change
and you'll loose your waistline. You will
maybe just look like you are gaining a
little weight until the proper round ball
tummy pops out around the 5 1/2 month
mark.

I am sure alot of people who read this was
just as sick as I was. You should
appreciate the fact that I was sticking up
for you. And yes I can agree with the

I am 17 years old, as of right now I live
with my parents...Me and my b/f usually go
back and forth and sleep at my parents for
a while and then his.. But at the first
of the month ( 3 days ) we are moving into
an apartment together.. Something planned
long before this pregnancy,and my b/f is
19 years old

for you... I was 5 months pregnant with
my daughter when my ex-husband left me,,,
I was 28 though, not 17. At 17, I
thought I knew it all and agreed to marry
that man (no kids involved). Poking is a
no-no!!! Touching, trying to hear the
heartbeat with a stethoscope.... An
awesome thing! Whatever you do, don't
sell yourself short... If you want the
baby.. Have the baby!!! Don't go by what
he says!!!! They are precious little
souls in need of guidance, love and alot
of care... If you have to... Trust
me... You can do it on your own!
