Is it ok to run when you are 5-1\2 months pregnant. I had to run today for gym and it hurt.....I got tears in my eyes....I sound like such a baby but, it hurt. Then after I sat down from doin these running drill things, I got a really bad head ache... :s the coach knows im pregnant..

If it hurts you that should be your indicater--if you know what I mean--tell her you cant do it

My friend was taken out of gym when she was pregnant...I cant say that I was becuz I dont go to school ne more...But im positive she was taken out of gym n she had to do written assignments instead I know it doesnt sound like much fun....But talk to ur doctor or just call n ask the nurse...

Hello........You know your body and if it hurts then tell your teacher. If she dont listen tell someone who will. If you had tears in your eyes and it hurt I would suggest its time to stop!

It is okay to exercise but if you are in pain I would let someone know.

Wow... That is so irresponsible of your teacher!
At the school I just graduated from, they said that if you were pregnant you couldn't attend gym class, because they couldn't guarantee that what was done wouldn't hurt the baby or you...
Of course this was denmark... And I don't know how it is where you are, I don't even know how it would be in the other end of my country!

Gosh... If I was you i'd simply refuse. I mean are they even aware what consequenses it would have for the school if you got hurt in any way?

I'm sorry, but hearing that makes me angry. I know exercising is good for you when pregnant, but there has got to be limits. I hope she isn't pushing you into stuff???
