Keep trying! Please don't allow yourself to get too discouraged. Here is my story to help you.
Before divorcing due to fighting, my ex hubby and I considered children. I quit taking my pill. I had been on the pill consistently for 12 years. We were only married for that year I was off the pill, and luckily I didn't get pregnant.
After the divorce I had pretty much settled on being single the rest of my life with a few bed companions here and there to suit my needs. I went back on the pill again.
I guess god had other plans for me. Out of the blue I hooked up with a wondeful man. We quickly fell in love, and are to be married in october. We discussed children, and since I am not getting any younger (having turned 30 this month) we decided for me to go ahead and quit taking my pill in july. The first day of my last period was july 12. I should have started my pills again on the 16 or 17th.
Well, here I am, pregnant! I am due on/around april 18th. We have always heard that it takes awhile to get pregnant after being on the pill for so long because the woman needs to regulate. Ha! So, anyway, just keep trying, and good luck!
