Had Sex the Day Before My Period Posted: 08-27-05 09:05am
I had sex with my boyfriend on the 18th,
the day before my period started and it's
the first time we had sex. He pulled out
before he came. And he washed himself
thoroughly. That evening, we again had
sex, but this time he didn't enter me
totally and he didn't cum in me either.
And then my period started on the 19th.
We again had sex on the 21st. This time
too he didn't cum in me, but I was scared
and got myself those plan b morning after
pills. Is there any chance I could be
pregnant? Please answer as i'm worried to
death.

Any time you have sex, there is a chance
you can get pregnant, regardless if he
said he didn't cum in you. There is
pre-cum! You said he didn't enter you
totally but the reality is he still
entered you! And yes, you can still get
pregnant if you have sex on your period!
If your worried take the morning after
pill to make sure you don't get pregnant.
Get on birth control and use a condom next
time!

For future reference pulling out before
full ejaculuation is not an effective form
of pregnancy prevention. Pre-ejaculation
still contains sperm that are quite
capable of fertilizing the egg, resulting
in pregnancy. Too many young people
believe that the pull-out method works.
This is a myth!
If you and your bf do not want the
responsibility of a child then you need to
start using birthcontrol. The best thing
would be for you to get on the pill. If
this is not a possibility the next best
thing would be for him to use a
combination of condoms and spermacide. I
say a combination of these two because
condoms are not 100% effective. They do
break. Just make sure the spermacide is
compatible with the condom. Some
spermacides can work against latex, making
it weaker.
While pregnancy can happen at any time, a
woman's most fertile time tends to be 11 -
17 days after the first day of her last
period. On average the woman will ovulate
14 days after the first day of her last
period. Sperm can live for up to three
days, thus the 11 - 17 days. A woman's
least likely time to get pregnant would be
during her period. That does not mean,
though, that it is impossible to get
pregnant during your period! Keep in mind
that this is not a sure-fire thing,
either. Every woman is different.
If you continue to have unprotected sex,
pending both of you are fertile, then
pregnancy will eventually happen.

If your period's late then do a pregnancy
test.. it's the only way you'll know
whether you're pregnant or not. If it's
positive, see your doctor as soon as you
can.

Please don't type all in capitals. It is
considered bad manners.
Wait for your period. When is it due? If
it does not show up, take a pregnancy
test.
If you don't wish to become pregnant, get
birth control!
