Well sometimes you just notice it so that would mean that you would have your child at 36 to 38 weeks. Well I had my baby at 36 weeks and I already had noticed the discharge to what I called it when I was in the hospital but everything is going to be alright so congradulations on your new baby.

The mucus plug is sometimes the indicater of 2 more weeks to go, but like mama said hers came out at the hospital when she was in labor. She did have her baby early though. And mine always came out early--but I was always dilated to 2 or 3 cm by the time I went into labor. As soon as my daughter dilated a little like fingertip she lost her mucus plug. Believe me you will know if it was like mine. It just kept coming wipe after wipe, this slimy mucusy snotty gunk--sometimes a little blood tinged--but that is totaly normal.

I got really sick on 8/19/05 and went to the labor and delevery and they told me that it was a yeast infection. So my question is this is that what it will look like?

i was just barely late with my girl, I carried her atleast 2 weeks late by dr timeline, many u/sounds with her so they were confused. I thought I was due the end of oct beg of nov--i had her dec1.

Anyway, I passed this stuff "light greenish" I think if I remember correctly. I had lost her mucus plus end of sept. But I had a hole in the water bag, they told me they thought it was her first bowel movement. It came out the small hole in the bag and out my vagina---weird huh???

No I dont think it is your mucus plug, unless baby poop is in it!!! That would mean there has to be a hole in the sac. I would sit up every morning and would gush just a bit of water and feel air bubbles going up on the insides of me.

Sounds like you had a hard pregnancy.
I have only had two ultra sounds and both gave me different due dates and now the dr says that he thinks that she will be here in 2-4 weeks. So I am just sitting back and waiting on her to decide when she wants to be born. Well I guess I should have said when god want me to have her.

I have a question. Everyone that prays please pray for my cousin she is battling cancer she is only 27 and this is her second time with fighting it and so were just hangging in there. The dr has told us the only reason he is doing chemo is to by us time. So please prey
I know that this is wrong but I pray everynight that if brionna will be fine to go ahead and have her so that my cousin can be there with us. She is her god mother.

Every single prayer line you can find with a phone number--or even on the internet, call them, write them, tell them what you just told us. Do it right away--please. And keep calling as you see new places you havent called yet. Give her name and age to them for when they pray. Try tbn for numbers 1-800 numbers and call, call, call

right away please, I believe this is a word from god so please call as much as you can for her to be held up to him. And just believe, god will do the rest

Ps not a hard pregnancy, just a long one--she was waiting to be born on my birthday. Wonnderful present.

Thank you for your prayers. Believe me I have been telling anyone and everyone that would listen to me. She goes today to start her chemo so were just praying everything will work. Travis that is my cousins name she says she thinks that the baby will be born pretty soon she thinks that I am dilating. Selfish I know but that is what I am praying is happing I really want this baby to be born bf its to late. Is that wrong to pray for something that strong to happen. :? You wouldnt even know it by talking to her bc she is full of life and energy. She keeps her head up and always has a smile on that pretty face of hers.

Have a question I am really starting to swell up more than normal so much that my leg is hard as a rock. I know that in the last month you are the most miserable than normal but is it this normal? I cant even sleep and I am using pillows to and that dosnt even seem to help.
My vagina is really swollen to and it is hurting to the point that I cant walk good. I know I sound like a big baby myself.

Does you dr know about the swelling?? If not you should let him know, could be toxemia.( I believe that is what it is called, blood pressure get really hi) so you should let him know asap.

He knows that I have been swealing but dosnt know that it is to the point that I cant sleep or walk real good. Also why do you think that I am swollen in my vagina? Is that normal.

I hate to ask this but I went to the bathroom today and this big glob of stuff came out on the tolet paper but I havent seen it since then. Is this normal?

the swelling in the vagina might mean the hormones are there to make labor happen but nothing is happening. When they tried to give me pitocin with my son, it swelled me up terrible--but no labor. I just had pains and swelling down there. So maybe body is producing the labor hormones and for some reason your body is not reponding to them. I dont know just a guess. Should tell him though about the uncomfortableness of the other swelling too. If its swollen so bad the skin is hard I think its not too good.


Does he have a private phone line for women who go into labor--can you call it??

I went to the dr today and they didnt even examine me. Just said everything was fine. I saw his nurse pract. Yeah it hurts.

Angel, sounds like u lost your plug, if you are pregnant, I am assuming you are. Unless you are less then 30-32 weeks. It's normal and you are okay.

Ya I am 34wks today (wed) I got my days mixed up and said I changed on thursday. So what now do I just sit back and wait?
