I Am 6 Weeks Pregnant And I Feel Like I'm Showing Already Posted: 08-28-05 18:00pm
Anyway this passed week I feel like my
belly is showing sooner. This is
counting number 3 for my husband and i.
I've heard that we show alittle sooner
with every pregnancy, but this is really
early. For some reason it feels like
everything has shifted upward., and my
belly feels somewhat hard. Has any of
you felt this way after baby number 2. I
am kinda freaked out about it and any
replies would be greatly appreciated

Dont be alarmed haha, I started showing at
6 weeks too. Especially with your 3rd
baby, your likely to show alot sooner. I
have seen some pictures of women at 6
weeks who look like they are 5 months!
Every person's body is different.
Of course youd have to wait for an
ultrasound to see if there are 2 in there
haha

It could just be a lot of bloating....

I am about 9 weeks now and my stomach like
it is just sticking out there, all of my
clothes are tight already and although I
am not quite at the stage to be wearing
maternity clothes I still can't wear any
of my normal clothes, so I am at a real in
between stage. I keep telling myself that
I shud not be showing so early either.
With my first daughter I didn't show until
I was at leats 5 months, now two
miscarriages later and another pregnancy I
feel as though I am just tumbling along,
good year blimp, kinda thing. I don't
know if that is normal or not. My brother
tells me that he thinks my dates are wrong
and that I shud check with my doctor
again. But I go back to him on the 12th
for another scan so we will see exactly
what's going on there.

I started showing at 6 weeks too and this
is my first. But I am right on schedule,
just some people show sooner than others,
especially if its a 2nd, 3rd, 4th
pregnancy. Now I am almost 14 weeks and
showing alot haha, but I had a scan done
at 10 weeks and everything is just great!
I go back to the doc on thursday.

Ya know, that's what I kept telling
myself, that maybe it was just bloating or
I was just gassy, becuz at 9 weeks babies
really aren't that big to make an
impression. But when I wake up in the
mornings my stomach still doesn't go down
and i've been eating plenty fruit and
drinking lots of water so I am quite
regular about going to the bathroom becuz
I know that you can get constipated during
pregnancy and still my stomach isn't going
anywhere. The thing is that I try very
hard not to over eat becuz that whole
'eating for two' thing is just a myth,
becuz the bayby takes what it wants and
the rest is just stored as fat on our
bodies, so I have been trying to eat
really healthy. Apart from that becuz of
my 'morning' sickness I have to eat little
amounts at a time so I don't gorge myself,
yet I can't figure out why my tummy just
sticks out there. Who knows, might be
another twin I don't know. It's just
really strange to have all this tummy at 9
weeks. Really weird.

6 weeks sounds like bloating, but you
never know. Even though baby is the size
of a grape, maybe the uterus is already
getting ready to expand.
Especially if you're on the thinner side
;]
my pants were tight by 8 weeks, by 10
weeks they were un-buttoned, and by 12
weeks I was in stretchy pants!

Yes it is true it is not baby that is
making your belly grow in size. It also
depends on how many pregnancies you have
had. They say with every pregnancy you
show faster because the uterus expands
sooner b/c it has been stretchd before
plus you can feel your baby sooner then
the expected weeks then first time
mothers. Between last part of 9 weeks on
the baby starts to wiggle inside. By
10-14 weeks it can be very possible to
feel some flutter.

Hey 3kizz, I didn't even know all of that.
I had a kid before but she is like 11
years old. I also had two miscarriages
last year, so I don't know if that I had
anything to do with it. But thanks for
the info. I hadn't a clue. You live and
learn :)
